Q: Why did Micro Focus Universe go virtual?
A: The health and safety of our customers, partners, and employees is our number one priority at Micro Focus. Due to the global government guidelines around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we decided to move to a virtual event.
Q: When does Micro Focus Virtual Universe take place?
A: The dates of the Virtual Universe event are Tuesday, May 19 – Thursday, May 21.
Q: How will I be able to access Micro Focus Virtual Universe?
A: Links to the livestream sessions will be available from this website.
Q: May I invite my colleagues to attend Micro Focus Virtual Universe?
A: Yes! Now that Universe is free and available online, it may be more available to even more colleagues around the globe. Please feel free to invite them to register.
Q: Is there a cost to attend Micro Focus Virtual Universe?
A: No, the event is free of charge.

Q: Which sessions will be offered at Micro Focus Virtual Universe?
A: The welcome keynote and all track keynotes remain as is. The vast majority of other sessions will also still be conducted. The schedule is currently being updated and will be available soon. Check back for updates.
Q: How will sessions gather attendee questions and input?
A: Our goal is to ensure that we maximize engagement, so speakers will set aside time in each session for Q&A to ensure that you gain as much education and value as possible by attending.
Q: How can we enjoy product demos?
A: The Digital Transformation Zone is going virtual as well. We will conduct live demos that showcase the latest and greatest Micro Focus products. We will also offer personalized demos via our 1:1 remote Meeting Center.
Q: What happens to the 1:1 meeting I had scheduled in the Meeting Center?
A: We’re hosting all the 1:1 meetings in our remote Meeting Center. Currently scheduled meetings will remain as is. If you would like to request a 1:1 meeting or demo with a Micro Focus executive or product expert, please contact your sales rep.
Q: What happens to the Voice of the Customer interview I had scheduled?
A: Currently scheduled interviews will remain at the same time. If you would like to give us your feedback on Micro Focus, please let us know and we’ll schedule a virtual interview with you.
San Antonio registrant logistics FAQs
Q: I was registered for the event in San Antonio. Do I need to re-register to attend the virtual event?
A: No. Everyone registered for the in-person event will have immediate access to the free virtual event.
Q: I was registered for the event in San Antonio. How will I get refunded my conference fee?
A: All conference fees will be refunded.
- If you paid via credit card, we will issue your full refund directly to that card.
- If you paid via wire transfer, please send us your bank details and we will then issue your full refund to that bank.
Q: I was registered for the event in San Antonio. Do I need to cancel my hotel?
A: If you reserved a room at the JW Marriott via the link we provided during online registration, we will cancel your reservation and you do not need to take any further action. Once completed, you will receive an email from the JW Marriott confirming the cancellation.
If you booked a hotel independently, please reach out to the hotel property and cancel the reservation directly.
Q: I was registered for the event in San Antonio. Do I need to cancel my travel?
A: If you made your own travel reservations independently and no longer want to visit San Antonio, then yes, you need to contact the airline directly and cancel yourself.
If we made travel reservations for you (i.e. customer speakers), you do not need to take action as we will cancel the travel reservations.
