All major credit cards are accepted widely in shops, hotels, and restaurants in The Hague. Some taxis accept credit cards, but please check payment terms with the driver first. Cash-on-card services are available from selected American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa card addresses. These cards are also accepted by all GWK currency exchange outlets and Change Express Offices. ATM cash machines can be found in most hotels.

Foreign currency can be exchanged at banks, post offices, and change bureaus. Many hotels also offer this service.
During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to advise us of any special dietary requirements or food allergies. Micro Focus Universe 2020 works closely with the venue to create menus that can be enjoyed by all attendees.
The event dress code is business casual. We advise you bring a light sweater or jacket as the conference center rooms may be cool.
Electrical appliances in The Hague operate on 230 volts with continental-style sockets.

Customize your dining experience. Attendees receive a dinner voucher that can be redeemed at a variety of selected restaurants and bars throughout The Hague. With a pre-set cash value, the voucher takes the guesswork out of “where to eat” and gives you flexibility to choose the spot that best suits your expectations, favored cuisine, and dietary requirements.
All relevant information and a map of participating eateries will be provided to attendees via the mobile app, and vouchers will be provided at onsite check-in.
Wednesday, 18 March, 19:30-22:30 Event celebration
Join fellow Micro Focus Universe attendees for an evening celebration. Enjoy food, drinks, music, and conversation as you continue building your networks.
Dutch is the official and working language of The Netherlands. English is widely spoken, but not by all taxi drivers. Conference proceedings will be conducted in English.
The Hague is in the Central European Time zone (CET).

- Lunches are provided on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- Dinner is provided on Tuesday and Wednesday
If you have any dietary requirements, please indicate those when registering for the event.

Micro Focus Universe attendees may request 1:1 meetings with Micro Focus executives and product experts in our onsite Meeting Center. Please submit meeting requests to your Micro Focus sales representative after you have registered for the event.
Non-EU passport holders are advised to contact the appropriate diplomatic or consular authorities for visa requirement details. You may indicate whether you need a visa invitation letter during the registration process.
Few other cities in Holland offer as many attractions as The Hague. In this regard, the royal city by the sea occupies a leading position in Europe. Visit parliament buildings or snap a selfie in front of the world famous Peace Palace. Take a boat trip through The Hague's canals or relax on the beach of Scheveningen. One thing is certain: there is something for everyone!

If you arrive via Amsterdam Schiphol, we recommend you take the direct train connection to The Hague.
The train station is located in the middle of the airport arrival hall, underground. Approximately every 15 minutes, a train departs from Amsterdam Schiphol to The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal). The train always departs from platform 5 or 6 and takes between 29 and 52 minutes, depending on departure time. The cost for this journey is approx. 8,90 € one-way.

Within The Hague
Over 30 bus and tram lines will quickly take you to your destination. You can download the app from the local public transportation company HTM to find your best connections and buy your tickets:

To get from the World Forum to Amsterdam Schiphol, we recommend you use the public transportation links with NS. Taxis are readily available at Amsterdam Schiphol airport. The journey from the airport to World Forum takes approximately 30-45 minutes and will cost, depending on traffic and time of day, about 100,00 €. Pre-booked taxis cost approx. 59,00 €.

A request for a visa invitation letter can be submitted during registration. Please note that the process for issuing visa invitation letters can take several working days.
The average temperature in The Hague in March is between 3°C and 10°C, with an average of 17 sunny or partly cloudy days throughout the month.
